Who Wore It Better: Suzy vs. Han Hye Jin vs. Seohyun

This edition of ‘Who Wore It Better’ is a 3-way battle among three of Korea’s most beautiful ladies: miss A’s Suzy, Han Hye Jin, and Girls’ Generation/TaeTiSeo’s Seohyun.  All three were spotted wearing the same dress by ‘Blumarine.’  So, let’s take a look at who will prevail this round!

The piece is from ‘Blumarine’s F/W 2014 collection.  There are many intricate designs on this dress—black sheer lace is fused with a blue-and-gold patterned texture that sweeps vertically across the dress and accents on the shoulder.  The dress is a cross between a majestic gown and a figure-skating outfit.

Suzy was spotted wearing the dress at the ‘Cartier’s 100th Anniversary event on October 16th and Han Hye Jin at ‘VOGUE Fashion’s Night Out‘ on October 24th. Seohyun was most recently seen rocking the dress at the ‘Style Icon Awards‘ on October 28th.

All three ladies took a similar approach in styling the dress.  Suzy paired the dress with a simple black clutch and black-and-cheetah print heels with a cute crisscross accent on the front.  Her makeup was simple but gorgeous—her red lips, in particular, added the perfect pop of color to her look.  Han Hye Jin, too, opted for light makeup with bright lips and paired the outfit with strappy black heels.  Lastly, Seohyun wore simple black pumps and went for a natural look, allowing her luscious locks and, of course, the dress to shine.

I definitely like parts about each of the three looks.  I love Suzy’s makeup and, of course, nothing can look bad on Suzy—however, I think the cheetah print on her shoes in addition to the prints and textures on the dress was too much.  Although the fit of the dress was arguably best on Han Hye Jin, especially with the shorter length, in the end, I think Seohyun styled the dress the best.  Her simple and minimalistic look works best in my opinion; she shows that less can be more.  In addition, I liked how her lighter and full hair—in perfect loose curls—made sure that she wore the dress and not vice versa.
